For the uninitiated and pre-ordained, Evil explores the dividing line between science and religion. Like The X Files before it, the series mixes monster-of-the-week mayhem with an underlying storyline which continues to pierce dark forces of human and superhuman making. The series focuses on a group of paranormal investigators probing unexplained phenomena for the Catholic Church. They weigh in on cases of demonic possession, hauntings, and help determine true miracles from other mysteries of faith.

Evil Season 3 Story

Evil season 3 “begins moments after the end of season two: when a newly ordained David and Kristen kiss,” according to the official teaser synopsis. Moving forward “the two not only have to navigate this fraught new reality, but contend with David’s involvement with ‘the entity,’ an espionage unit within the Catholic church. Meanwhile, Ben finds his brain breaking from their unsolved cases and turns to his sister for help.” In the Evil Season 2 finale, David was ordained as a priest, and may have broken his very first vow. He gives absolution to Kristen, who confesses she got away with murder. It was a good deed paid forward. The victim was the serial murderer Orson LeRoux. Episode ended with a kiss. Evil season 3 returns to Paramount+ on Sunday, June 12.
